Are you interested in learning more about the health of your local stream and river and finding out about where your drinking water comes from? On Saturday 26th of March - 1:30 to 3pm - the Maigue Rivers Trust is hosting a citizen science picnic in Lough Gur visitor park where we will demonstrate how you can do a simple chemistry test for nutrients in your local stream and river. We will also look at the fascinating water insects that can indicate good and poor water quality. This is a free event and is suitable for everyone to attend.
