Are you interested in learning more about the health of your local stream and river and finding out about where your drinking water comes from?
On Saturday 26th of March – 1:30 to 3pm – the Maigue Rivers Trust is hosting a citizen science picnic in Lough Gur visitor park where we will demonstrate how you can do a simple chemistry test for nutrients in your local stream and river.
We will also look at the fascinating water insects that can indicate good and poor water quality.
This is a free event and is suitable for everyone to attend.
